The room you cook in
Kitchen renovations across Barry are led from Rhoose. A kitchen refurbishment can keep units that are still sound.
A full fit replaces them. The visit decides whether the units stay or go, based on your needs.
01
Cooking gets easier because the route, the storage and the worktop are planned , not bought as a row of units.
02
Units that are still sound can stay. Replacing them is a different job, and the visit is where that choice is made.
03
Water, power and ventilation move with the layout, and the quote says how long the room is out of daily use.
How far the kitchen changes
A new layout belongs with a new run of units, once you know the old ones are going. A kitchen strip out happens only as far as that plan requires.
A new kitchen, fitted to an agreed plan. Units, the worktop and the services that have to move are one install.
Suitable carcases stay. Doors, worktops or the layout change only where the existing kitchen is still worth keeping.
A worktop fitted or replaced on its own, including joints and cut-outs, without turning the job into a full kitchen.
Move storage and working areas to reduce bottlenecks and make food preparation easier.
Show us where storage, preparation space or movement falls short, so the visit can focus on the changes that matter.
Cost and timing
Room condition, preparation work and product choices determine what needs to happen before and during fitting.
A new kitchen cost follows the units, the worktop, the appliances and how far the services move. It is written after the room is measured.
A kitchen renovation timeline depends on the strip-out, the services and the lead time on the units. Dates follow that order.
Building regulations for a kitchen can apply when electrics, ventilation or drainage change. The existing ventilation requirements should be settled before fitting begins.
Projects
The kitchen you can see was fitted during the full house opening in Barry. It is not a standalone kitchen case. There is no separate published refurbishment or worktop-only project.
Process
The visit measures the room and the services. A layout is agreed before anything is ordered.
The old kitchen comes out only as far as the plan needs. Services move before the new units go in; worktops and doors are last, so you can cook again when the sequence is finished.
Measure, then the layout
Open the room only as far as needed
Fit, then you can cook
Questions
These answers cover replacement choices, layout planning, preparation and limited kitchen use.
No. The quote is written after the room is measured, including where the water and the power are. A brochure is not a price.
No. Sound carcases can stay, and only the worn parts are replaced. A full new run of units is a different job.
The quote says. It depends on the strip-out, the services and when the units arrive. There is no stock number of days.
The cabinet layout, worktops, storage requirements and any tiling should be settled before the relevant work begins, so the quotation and programme reflect the kitchen you intend to install.
